The working principle of diode lasers is based on photothermal theory. Hair follicles and hair shafts contain large amounts of melanin. Melanin is interspersed between hair bulbs and hair shaft structures (such as medulla, cortex, and cuticle pills). Fiber-optic diode laser for precise and selective treatment of melanin. Melanin can absorb the energy of the laser, increase the temperature rapidly, destroy the surrounding hair follicles, and finally remove the hair.
